After we changed, we bought day subways tickets and rode down to ground zero.
It's very depressing looking. It's a giant hole and you can still kind of see the foundations.
The Hilton right across the street is fine though. It's really cloes to where we stayed last time.
They erected a fence around all of Ground Zero and they have the names of 9/11 Heroes on plaques.
We took the Staten Island Ferry at 1:30 am. It runs 24 hours on the half hour.
It's Fleet Week and some Navy ships are anchored at Staten Island (I think) because there were a lot of sailors and naval officers wandering around the city.
The skyline is beautiful at night.
That's the Brooklyn Bridge on the right.
The Statue of Liberty is pretty cool, too.
